Netflix has released a trailer showing all 28 original movies coming out on the streaming platform in 2022. Netflix is currently leading the streaming services, in terms of overall subscriptions, having outperformed competitors such as Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, HBO Max, and many more.
Founded in 1997 as a DVD mail rental service, it quickly evolved into the streaming world, conquering the platform and beating the competition, having been the first to offer both original and licensed content (starting with the 2013 debut of House of Cards). Netflix currently has over 200 million subscribers worldwide.
It is therefore not surprising that he focuses everything on his original films, products that have a truly stellar cast, as you can guess from this video preview. Among the films in the packed trailer are some highly anticipated projects.
