The Batman Movierulz directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Three Friends, a Wedding, and a Funeral) is finally upon us after so many years that have put more and more expectations in the hearts of fans of The Dark Knight.
The film brings to the big screen a new version of the Caped Crusader, this time embodied by Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse, The Streets of Evil), who represents a more vindictive form of Bruce Wayne, but also more analytical and investigative. In fact, within the film, the protagonist will be called to investigate some strange murders perpetrated by the mysterious Edward Nygma (played by Paul Dano).
Just Dano, in a recent interview for The Hollywood Reporter, spoke in particular of his role as a villain within The Batman, highlighting how the mask worn, typical of the character in this new restyle of his costume, made him very powerful and also gave him the possibility of materially understanding the personality of the figure he was going to interpret. Below is an excerpt of his statements.
Power, because you don't want the person wearing that mask to walk towards you. And for someone [like the Riddler] who has felt helpless in their life, it's a great feeling to experience.
The Batman Movie sees the script by Reeves himself in the company of Peter Craig, while the executive producer is entrusted to Simon Emanuel, Michael E. Uslan, Walter Hamada, and Chantal Nong Vo.
The cast, on the other hand, also sees the presence of John Turturro in the role of Carmine Falcone, Colin Farrell who embodies Oswald Cobblepot or The Penguin, Andy Serkis who lends his face to the butler Alfred Pennyworth and many others. The title will arrive in Italian cinemas on March 3, 2022, while in the United States it will be distributed exactly one day later.
