Kang's interpreter has had his say on a possible casting of The Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Jonathan Majors is a young actor who has been gaining a lot of visibility lately: the star, born in 1989, got his first important role in 2016, in the ABC miniseries When We Rise, while he was still studying at Yale. In parallel, the star also had his first part on the big screen in Hostiles, directed by Scott Cooper which arrived in theaters in 2017. Two projects that certainly have demonstrated his incredible talent, were launched to the general public, in particular, in 2020, when the actor participated in the HBO miniseries Lovecraft Country – The land of demons, specifically playing Atticus “Tic” Freeman.

Jonathan Majors got big exposure thanks to Lovecraft Country

In recent years, Jonathan Majors has met the tastes of Hollywood, first appearing within the Marvel Loki series in the role of the One who remains and, subsequently, embodying another version of the character in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, playing as Kang the Conqueror, arguably the next main villain of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this regard, we know precisely that in the future of the MCU, there will be a film, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, where this antagonist will play a crucial role, recently, in an interview for Lifehacker Australia, Majors told his expectations for the feature film, including revealing who he would like to share the screen with.

I'd love to be in front of Robert Downey Jr. on the screen to see how our philosophies, acting-wise and character-wise, just personally, fit together. I find him such a fascinating artist, which is why Iron Man is so fascinating. His portrayal of Iron Man is so fascinating and represents a very clear worldview and energy of the Avengers. And I think Kang represents a different era.

We remind you that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is arriving in Italian cinemas, with the production of Marvel Studios, on February 15, 2023.
