Sony brings us back to the colorful and highly dynamic Spider-Verse with this new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the long-awaited animated film that will bring Miles Morales back to the big screen. Sony Pictures Animation has released a brand new trailer for the film, which reveals many of the characters we will see (and see again) in theaters in June. The famous Spider-Man meme was even recreated in one scene! Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will see the return of stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, and Jake Johnson, who reprise their roles from Into the Spider-Verse.

In addition, Oscar Isaac will reprise his role as Spider-Man 2099, a character who first appeared in the post-credits scene of the previous film, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Issa Rae leads the impressive cast of newcomers, taking on the role of Spider-Woman. She is joined by Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, and Jorma Taccone. Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, from a screenplay written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Dave Callaham.

After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, the friendly Brooklyn neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted into the Multiverse, where he meets a team of "Spider-Heroes" charged with protecting its existence. But when the heroes clash over how to deal with a new threat, Miles finds himself up against the other "Spiders" and will have to redefine what it means to be a hero to save the people he loves most.

The film will arrive in cinemas on June 2, 2023.
