Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is the recent feature film directed by James Mangold (Logan – The Wolverine, Ford vs. Ferrari) which has the not-at-all-easy task of bringing to a conclusion the much-appreciated saga starring the iconic adventurer-archaeologist with fedora and whip (who has the face of Harrison Ford). It's been a long time since that day in 1981 when Raiders of the Lost Ark arrived at the cinema, shocking audiences and critics and at the same time revolutionizing action cinema forever. Here, with this chapter, we, unfortunately, arrive at an epilogue that unfortunately does not seem to have fully convinced everyone, with rather lukewarm reviews.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny should definitively close the story of Professor Henry Jones Jr.

Recently, just Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was presented in global preview at the Cannes Film Festival, an out-of-competition accompanied, of course, by most of the cast and with the presence of Mangold on the red carpet. While we obviously wait for the film to arrive in our country, we are bombarded these days with continuous videos and archive images relating to the project. The most recent clip, reported by Collider, is nonetheless very interesting, because, in just one minute, it introduces the central relic of the work, or the Dial of Destiny, also revealing its mysterious origins which are closely linked to our peninsula.

We remind you, among other things, that Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, before arriving in Italian cinemas on 28 June 2023, will also be presented at the Taormina Film Fest. The project, produced in particular by Lucasfilm and Amblin Entertainment, sees a cast also made up of Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, and many others.
