The Expendables 4 will be the last film in the saga with Sylvester Stallone, which will leave room for the character of Jason Statham.

Lionsgate has released the first official trailer of The Expendables 4, the fourth chapter of the action saga born from the mind of Sylvester Stallone and screenwriter David Callaham. Directed by Scott Waugh and written by Tad Daggerhart, Max Adams, and Kurt Wimmer from a story by Spenser Cohen, the film will be available in cinemas from 21 September 2023, distributed by Vertice 360.

A new generation of stars joins the roster of action movie stars for an adrenaline-packed adventure in The Expendables 4 - Expend4bles. Bringing together the team of Expendables formed by Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone we have for the first time Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran and Andy Garcia. Armed with every type of weapon they can get their hands on and with the right skills to use them, the Expendables are the last line of defense and the team that gets called when there are no other options. Apparently, at the center of the film, there will be terrorists who threaten to start the Third World War because they possess nuclear missiles.
