The Flash is the latest feature film from Detective Comics which is directed by Andy Muschietti (It, The Mother). The project, in particular, is the last glue with the old DC universe and, in some way, also serves as a watershed for the superhero vision of James Gunn and Peter Safran, the new co-CEOs of DC Studios, and sees the well-known speedster (with the face of Ezra Miller), one of the members of the Justice League, which totally messes up the plan of reality. Trying to save his mother from certain death, the superhero disrupts the dimensions, creating an alternate reality in which General Zod (Michael Shannon), for lack of meta-humans, is managing to conquer the Earth.

The Flash arrives in cinemas on June 15, 2023

The Flash, in recent months, has been followed by a series of controversies concerning Miller himself, due to some rather questionable attitudes off the set. A rebellious nature has led some insiders to theorize a possible cancellation of the project or even others who suspect a possible removal of the actor from the film. Subsequently, this alarm actually subsided, and recently, among other things, as reported by Deadline, Muschietti himself spoke highly of the star, explaining that he found it very good to work with him.

“Really the effort, the discipline, the humor, the fun, the excitement of doing this for them; for them it was an opportunity. For years, Ezra was an obscure actor, because they were making a lot of independent films. This is a film that portrays their full capabilities as performers.”

We remind you that The Flash, produced by DC Studios, Double Dream, and The Disco Factory, was previewed at the Comicon in Naples and will arrive in cinemas on June 15, 2023, with the screenplay by Christina Hodson and a cast also made up of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck both as Batman (from two different eras), Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West and many more.
