Bawaal Movie Storyline:
The story of the film begins with Ajay Dixit (Varun Dhawan), a resident of Lucknow, who is a school teacher by profession but at the same time is a master of appearances and with this false appearance, he has created panic all over Lucknow. Everyone feels that Ajju Bhaiya is not behind in anything, he knows everything.
Although Ajay is completely blank. Now in Ajay's life comes the entry of Nisha (Jhanvi Kapoor), who is everything a girl should be or wants to be. Nisha is beautiful, and capable, has traveled the country and the world, belongs to a good family, and is independent. There is only one problem with Nisha she used to have epileptic fits but has not come for the last 10 years. Flashing his cool image, Ajay wins the hearts of Nisha and the family.
But on the wedding night before farewell, Nisha suffers a stroke and Ajay is scared thinking what will happen to his image if people find out. After this, Ajay kept a distance from Nisha, neither talking to her properly nor taking her out anywhere. Meanwhile, a problem arises in Ajay's professional life and he is forced to take Nisha's help. What is compulsion, what is Sahara, and how do both connect with the time of World War 2. Does everything go well between Ajay-Nisha and does the film give a message? To know all this you will have to watch the film.
Bawaal Movie Analysis:
The theme of the film is cute and it is a good take on how in today's time man is trapped in the cycle of image. The film is creatively good and many dialogues in the film are such that they make you think. The film leaves this question in your mind, who is getting what, and who is losing what in the life of show off. The first half of the film is cute and you never know when half of the film is over, but the second half feels long and drawn out.
Many times in the film, the way World War 2 has been linked to today, even the rhyme does not seem to be correct. Whenever the film takes Varun-Jahnavi to the time of World War 2, then the film becomes a little less. The film gives a very fake feel at that point and the flow breaks. The music and background score of the film could have been better. At the same time, there is scope for writing, camera, and editing. That is, the film does not stand up technically.
Bawaal Movie Actors Performance:
Janhvi Kapoor's career may not be like Alia Bhatt but it is not like Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Pandey either. Jhanvi Kapoor is slowly progressing with every film and is making a place in the hearts of the audience with her acting. Jhanvi has done a good job in this film and the way a middle-class girl lives suffers and then raises her voice. That tone and pause in the film is seen in Jhanvi.
Jhanvi has done full justice to the character of Nisha. If we talk about Varun Dhawan as Ajju Bhaiya, then this is not his best performance but it is definitely included in the best. Varun has been seen doing the fake image with which he needed to carry the fake image in the film. It is visible on Varun's face that he is just showing off. Although Varun looks a bit pale in the second half of the film.
Mukesh Tiwari is seen in the character of MML in the film and despite less dialogue, he shows his magic with good body language and gestures. And Manoj Pahwa has also done a good job. After acting, now if we talk about direction, Nitesh Tiwari's direction is not up to his level this time. The film looks a bit technically light and on the other hand, it looks creatively strong.
Watch or Not: Overall this movie can be watched with family. This film by Nitesh Tiwari teaches the lesson of relationships by connecting the pages of history. However, it would not be wrong to say that Nitesh Tiwari has set a different standard for himself and this film of his cannot touch his own level. In such a situation, do not watch the film with any high expectations, then you will be able to enjoy it.
