Oppenheimer Movie Storyline:
There is nothing in the story of the film Oppenheimer, which is not understood by watching the trailer or seeing the posters etc. of the film. In director Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, J.J. The story of Robert Oppenheimer is shown, who tested the atomic bomb for the first time in the world in 1945. There is nothing like suspense in the film because the whole world knows what was the result of this test. Actor Cillian Murphy plays the lead role of Oppenheimer in the film. Apart from this, Emily Blunt is in the role of Kitty Oppenheimer. While Matt Damon plays Leslie Groves and Robert Downey Jr. play Louis Strauss.
Oppenheimer Movie Analysis:
The film is for full three hours and its good thing is that it not only shows the story of the atomic bomb test for the first time in the world in 1945 but also shows the whole story of Oppenheimer before and after that. The film does not move towards developing the characters in any way and comes as the story requires.
The best thing about the film is that no one is given special treatment visually and all are part of the story, which centers around Oppenheimer. However, it also becomes a problem for those who are not aware of American History, the Nagasaki-Hiroshima atomic bomb attack, John F Kennedy, Oppenheimer, and the Second World War. The story of the film is very well written and shown.
The visuals of the film are absolutely perfect and do not look less or more in any way. On the other hand, the good background music of the film is one of the strong points of the film. Small effects have been meticulously added, which enhance your movie experience as a viewer. All the scenes during Robert's time in the film are black and white, which beautifully shows that these are the after-effects of the story and a separate story from the ongoing story.
Oppenheimer Movie Cast Performance:
Each and every character of the film is historical as the film shows the real story. In the film, Cillian Murphy played J.J. Robert Oppenheimer and his work is really commendable. On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr. has once again proved that he is much more than just Iron Man. Apart from this, other actors including Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, and Florence Pugh have also done a great job.
However, till the end of the film, only RDJ and Murphy remain in the mind. While talking about the direction of Christopher Nolan, everyone eagerly waits for his films and this is the reason why so much craze is being seen globally regarding Oppenheimer. However, Oppenheimer is very different from Nolan's earlier films.
Nolan, who has made films like The Dark Knight Rises, Tenet, Inception, and Interstellar, has won hearts with action or fiction, and this time he has brought Oppenheimer's story. If you have noticed, dialogues are less and visuals are more in most of Nolan's films, but this time Oppenheimer is full of dialogue and it is written very seriously.
Overall, it would not be wrong to say that this film is very different from Nolan's old films. Most of Nolan's films have been fiction or hardcore action, which any kind of viewer can see and try to understand but to understand this film showing the life of Robert Oppenheimer, you must have a good knowledge of American history, otherwise, You will not understand most of the film.
So if you are not interested in world history, especially American history around 1940, then don't watch this film just because of Nolan, but if you like such historical stories, then you will not get tired of praising this film. That is, this film is not for the mass audience but for the selected class.
