Scam 2003: The Telgi Story trailer was released Tuesday evening. The web series will show how Abdul Karim Telgi pulled off India's biggest stamp paper scam of 30,000 crores. One man shook not only the entire economy but the country. It has also been revealed in the trailer that theater actor Gagan Dev Riar will be playing the role of Telgi. Hansal Mehta had earlier brought 'Scam 1992' in 2020, in which Prateek Gandhi played the main character.
Scam 2003 web series trailer is strong
The trailer begins with the voices of different characters speaking about Telgi in the background. Some call him 'snake', some 'smart', and some 'false coin'. Telgi introduces himself as a hero. He says, 'Just as you understand the language of law, I understand the language of profit.' Another dialogue of Telgi comes, 'If the country's economy is Kuber's treasure, then stamp paper is its key'. A person in the printing press says, 'Congratulations, you have become a father. Stamp paper is born. Telgi smiles and the music of 'Scam 1992' plays in the background.
How will the officials catch Telgi?
The trailer further shows the investigating officers trying to nab Telgi. In the end, Telgi talks to an official about the bribe transaction. He records her speak on a cassette. He also has tape-recorded conversations with other people which he collects.
