Officials gave this information on Wednesday. However, he did not say how many times the license would be canceled forever for jumping the red light.


Instructions to traffic police and transport department

Officials said that District Magistrate Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T. has directed the traffic police and transport department to permanently cancel the licenses of drivers who repeatedly violate red lights.


Licenses of 2,750 drivers suspended

However, the administration has not clarified how many times a driver's license will be canceled for breaking a red light. Officials said that since April 1, the Transport Department has suspended the licenses of 2,750 drivers who violated the red light at the traffic signal for the first time.


Three died in road accident due to fog

Three people were killed and four others injured when a vehicle and a truck collided due to low visibility due to fog in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. An official said that the incident took place in the early hours on Venkatnagar-Jaithari Road. Jaithari police station in-charge Prakash Chandra Kaul said, "Due to fog, a mini truck and a truck collided, in which three people died on the spot, while four others were injured." He is being treated in the district hospital. Of the three deceased, one was a woman, identified as Munni Rathod (55), while the other two deceased are Praveen Mishra (44) and Mohammad Salim (50). A case has been registered and an investigation is ongoing.
