Maa Oori Polimera 2 Movie Review: Some Telugu movies have scenes in the background of tantric worship, magical education, and sorcery. However, the movie Maa Oori Polimera is completely in the background of black magic. Directed by Anil Vishwanath. Satyam Rajesh, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, and Baladitya played the lead roles. The movie released in OTT received praise. Now the sequel has been made. Maa Oori Polimera 2 was released in theatres. How is this movie?
Maa Oori Polimera 2 Movie Story:
New SS Ravindra Naik (Rakendu Mouli) comes to Jastipalli Police Station. He had an idea about that town and its people as the news of 'Oke Chithilo two corpses' became a sensation. When Jangaiah (Baladitya), who filed the case, backs out at the last minute and disappears since then, Ravindra becomes suspicious of him. He says that he took a large amount of money and ran away. As the people in the station tell about his honesty... he starts investigating what really happened to Jangaiya.
After inquiring about Jangaiah, Ravindra finds Komaraiah ('Satyam' Rajesh) in Kerala through Balija ('Getup' Srinu). He says that Komaraiah took his friend Balija's wife to Kerala instead of the poem he loved as a child.
Originally, why did they both go to Kerala? What is the relationship between them? What is the connection between the temple on the outskirts of Jastipalli village and the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple in Kerala? Does wife Lakshmi (Kamakshi Bhaskarla) know about Komariya's sorcery? What happened to Jangaiya? What did you finally know? It should be seen in the movie.
Maa Oori Polimera 2 Movie Analysis:
A hit movie or a sequel to an acclaimed movie has certain expectations among the audience. As 'Maa Oori Polimera' was released in OTT, it was seen by many people who came to the theaters as well as people at home. Hence, the buzz for 'Polimera 2' has been created. Directors and producers should take extra precautions when they know there will be expectations. Criticism should be taken into consideration and not repeated.
Even those who have not seen 'Maa Oori Polimera' can happily go to 'Polimera 2'. In it, the whole story is told briefly while titles fall in the style of 'Katte Kotte Pyabe'. After that director Anil Vishwanath took a lot of time to go into the original story. The twists leading up to the interval are hard to impress.
Essay, who is new to the village, does not know that 'Satyam' Rajesh is alive! But, Balija (Getup Srinu) along with Lakshmi (Kamakshi Bhaskarla) know! When the investigation interval started on what happened to Jangayya, he stopped by Komarayya and it seems to be completed in three scenes.
In 'Polimera 2' the actual story started after the interval. The twists after the interval are surprising. Suspense was maintained. Small thrills were given in between. But... there are more flashback scenes in the story. The story ends incompletely as the temple hides the mystery as told in part 3. The background music is good. Penchal Das's song at the end is okay. The production design still needs improvement.
Maa Oori Polimera 2 Movie Actors Performance:
'Satyam' Rajesh has once again done justice to the role of Komaraiya. Being a familiar character, he took it easy. Will some scenes in 'Polimera 2' be shot along with 'Maa Oori Polimera'? Another one? 'Satyam' Rajesh Pettudu's beard is clearly visible on screen. That's a bit troubling.
Kamakshi Bhaskar's character in 'Polimera 2' surprises more than Rajesh's 'Satyam'. Some twists were revealed by her in the key scenes. She has also done well as an actress. 'Getup' Srinu, Rakendu Mouli, Ravi Varma, and other artists have done it to the extent of their roles. Prithviraj and Baladitya have guest roles in this movie. If you see the climax, you will understand that both of them are crucial in the third part.
In conclusion: Drama & stretch in the story are high till the interval. More twists after the interval. In order to prepare a strong story for 'Polimera 3', the suspense and thriller elements in the story of 'Polimera 2' have been limited to a level. Fans of 'Maa Oori Polimera' will also be satisfied if they go without any expectations.
