Sam Bahadur Movie Story:
The film Sam Bahadur shows the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, starting from childhood. Right at the beginning of the film, we can see why the parents changed their names in childhood. How Sam Manekshaw's life progressed after this. The film has not highlighted the stories of childhood and seems to start from the army time itself. Sam Bahadur depicts the important decisions of Sam Manekshaw's life, his time with the Indian Army, and some good and bad moments of his personal life. Some stories in the film clearly show why Sam Manekshaw was really different and amazing.
Sam Bahadur Movie Analysis:
The music of the film is quite loud and not very pleasing to the ears... Since the expectations are a bit high from Shankar-Ehsaan Loy, who has earlier sizzled in Raazi with Meghna Gulzar. To take the film forward, you can also see the use of real footage in the film. Due to this, the story takes time-lapse. The writing and camera work of this film is its life. However, there is so much to be said about Sam's life that at times it seems as if the film is moving too fast. In such a situation, if you have little knowledge of history, then you will not understand the film on some occasions.
Sam Bahadur Movie Actors Performance:
Vicky Kaushal is in the lead role of Sam Manekshaw in the film and there is no doubt that he has shown amazing acting skills. Watching the film has proved that Vicky Kaushal is made for films like Sardar Udham, Raazi, and Masaan and not The Great Indian Family, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, or Govinda Naam Mera. Vicky has brought life to the character of Manekshaw very well and from his gait to his expressions and voice, he has shown the strength which was much needed.
Sanya Malhotra has played the role of Manekshaw's wife Sillu and is seen with that emotional touch that shows her personal life on screen. Fatima Sana Shaikh plays the role of Indira Gandhi in the film and is seen shaping the character with her acting as the story progresses. Apart from all this, Mohammad Zeeshan looks good in the character of Ayyub in the film but later the bad make-up seems to overshadow his character.
The film can be watched in theaters with the family and you will not be disappointed at all after watching it. Meghna Gulzar's work is good, although some shortcomings remain, but they can be ignored by an audience. There are many such scenes in Sam Bahadur, which make you laugh and feel proud, although there is not a single hair-raising moment. Amidst all this, Sam's life definitely inspires you.
