Due to this, the temperature may also drop slightly further. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Thursday maybe 13 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be 24 degrees Celsius. According to Sameer App, the AQI level in Delhi was 420 at 8 am on Thursday. Apart from this, the condition of most of the areas is the same and in some areas like Anand Vihar, it is very high. Meanwhile, there has been considerable rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, and Punjab and snowfall has also occurred in some areas of the valley. Not only this, due to snowfall the Mughal Road connecting Rajouri and Poonch to South Kashmir also had to be closed.

Officials say that due to the latest snowfall, 'Peer Ki Gali' road also had to be closed. However, traffic is moving normally on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway 44. This highway passes through a large part of the country and reaches Kanyakumari. There has been good rain in Jammu also. Apart from this, there has been snowfall in the Pir Panjal and Chenab Valley areas. There has also been rain in the Trikuta Hills of Katra, which falls in the Reasi district. Some areas of Himachal Pradesh have also received good rainfall.


Rain in Punjab since 3 am, temperature also dropped

It is raining in many districts of Punjab also. Due to this, the cold has taken hold. It started raining in Chandigarh at 3 am in the morning, which is still continuing. It is raining intermittently in many districts including Mohali, Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Patiala. The temperature has dropped by two to three degrees Celsius due to rain. The Meteorological Department issued an alert that there will be a change in the weather in Punjab due to a western disturbance. It had rained in many parts of Punjab yesterday also. Due to this, the night temperature has dropped by two to three degrees Celsius and the day temperature has dropped by one to two degrees Celsius.


Chances of fog also, but pollution will remain less

The weather will remain dry for the next four days i.e. from December 1 to December 4. There are chances of fog in many districts after the rain. According to the forecast of Meteorological Center Chandigarh, most of the districts of Punjab except Western Malwa will be affected by western disturbance. Due to changes in weather, fog will increase the problems of people. While the cold has increased due to rain, the people of Punjab will get relief from the poisonous air.
