Dunki Movie Review: Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie 'Dunki' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Tapsee and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles was released worldwide on December 21 only in Hindi. Shah Rukh came out this year with the films Pathan and Jawaan and scored huge hits, and there are huge expectations for the movie Dunki. The last two films were mass action but dunki emotional drama.
Dunki Movie Story:
Manu (Taapsee), Buggu (Vikram Kochhar), and Balli (Anil Grover) live in an ordinary town in Punjab with financial problems. Anyway, they want to go to London and earn good money. But Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan), a jawan, comes to the town to thank their elder brother for saving him due to their lack of education and being deceived by fake visa consultancies.
Seeing that he is already dying and their financial problems, he thinks that they should be sent to London anyway. All of them take English coaching and stay on student visas. But all the others come to Balli and the visa is rejected. Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal) who wanted to save his girlfriend from England for marrying against her will is rejected, and Balli who went to England says that his girlfriend is dead, and he commits suicide. So when the British came, we didn't ask if you had Hindi, we didn't put so many rules, but when we were going to their country, so many rules? Shah Rukh and all the others will be fixed that they should go to England anyway.
With this, illegal immigrants will be fixed to cross the country on the donkey route. How did Shah Rukh and all the others go to England with so many difficulties crossing the country illegally? What are the conditions they faced there? Why did Manu-Hardy get away? The emotional story of how they met again has to be seen on screen.
Dunki Movie Analysis:
The first half of the comedy is directed by people who hope to go to London in a village. Vicky Kaushal's character commits suicide in the pre-climax, making the film emotional and giving an interval. And in the second half, they show all the suffering they went through while crossing the country illegally. How are they treated? They show emotionally what difficulties they face.
They show blindfolded what kind of difficulties those who live illegally in England have to face. The second half will be emotional. But all this story is shown as a flashback. At the age of 50, the story starts with Shahrukh, Taapsee, and the rest of them and takes it back 25 years and again shows the current situation in the climax.
The climax is also very emotional. Those who have seen the movie will definitely shed tears in the second half. Rajkumar Hirani takes the story of the sufferings of illegal immigrants around the world and why they go as they do and directs it with his trademark emotional drama.
Dunki Movie Actors Performance:
Shah Rukh Khan.. in the role of Hardy makes the audience laugh in the first half and makes the audience cry in the emotional scenes in the second half. Shah Rukh is also pleasing in his 50-year-old role. Taapsee also impresses with emotion in the role of young and old. Vicky Kaushal in a guest role makes the audience emotional for a quarter of an hour. Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, Boman Irani... the characters also impress with their comedy timing.
Dunki Movie Technical Aspects:
As it is a star hero movie, the production values are very rich. Shah Rukh and director Rajkumar Hirani are the producers of this movie. There will be no action scenes in this movie. The background music given by Aman Pant is a plus for the movie as it is mostly an emotional drama. The cinematography is also very perfect according to the location and period.
Overall, if Shah Rukh Khan was impressed with the action in the previous films, this time Rajkumar Hirani made the audience laugh and cry with his emotional touch. This movie can be rated 3. However, it remains to be seen how commercially successful the movie Dunki will be released in Hindi without the release of South languages, as Salar is releasing tomorrow.
