This movie revolves around a drug lord. Mexican drug lord Manitas del Monto wants to change his appearance due to circumstances. For that, a talented lawyer named Rita is kidnapped. However, Rita advises him to do some research and become a transgender. The drug lord asks the lawyer to help him transform into a girl.
When he offers her a good deal of money, Rita is tempted and agrees. Eventually, she finds an Israeli surgeon who can perform the surgery. The drug lord also entrusts Rita with the responsibility of transporting his wife, Selena Gomez, and their children to Switzerland. Four years later, a man named Manitas del Monto returns as Emilia Perez.
Emilia also asks Rita to help her meet her wife and children and return to Mexico. And did the family accept Emilia after she returned? What were the circumstances that the drug lord faced after becoming transgender? What changed in him? You must watch this movie to know these things.

This movie is set against the backdrop of underworld drugs. The movie was inspired by the 2018 French novel “Ecout.” Three girls played the lead roles in it. Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldana, and Carla Sofia Gascon played the lead roles. Rita is a lawyer who can let criminals go free. The drug lord is the only person in the movie who can be trusted.
She impresses in another new variation as a girl who fights with her conscience about wrongdoings in her job, and then as the richest person. Clara is amazing. Her performance as a drug lord and a transgender, as well as emotions, is amazing in action scenes. Selena Gomez is a disappointment. Her role in the movie is not that important. The rest of the actors gave their best.
