Gandhi Tatha Chettu Movie Review: An heiress from the Sukamar family, one of the top directors of Tollywood, is entering Tollywood. That is.. Sukriti Veni Bandreddy. The film in which Sukumar's daughter played an important role is.. Gandhi Tatha Chettu. Let's see how much 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu', which impressed with its good promos, has impressed as a film.

Gandhi Tatha Chettu Movie Story:

Ramachandraiah (Ananda Chakrapani), a resident of a village called Bandlur in the Telangana region, has been a great admirer of Gandhiji since childhood. When Gandhi died, the sapling he planted with his father in their field as a memorial to him grew into a big tree and gave shade to the village. That tree is Ramachandraiah's life.

Ramachandraiah also names his granddaughter Gandhi out of admiration for Gandhi. She has a great love for her grandfather. Always speaking the truth with the lessons taught by her grandfather.. Gandhi (Sukriti Veni), who is doing good deeds, seems to be in turmoil in her life. What caused that uproar? What a turn her life and the future of her village took. What Gandhi did next is the rest of the story.

Gandhi Tatha Chettu Movie Analysis:

Many people liked the movie 'Pushpa-2'.. but only five percent of them didn't like it.. Producer Ravi Shankar recently announced that he made the movie 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' for that category of audience. In fact, movies like 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' were made for everyone. They are also something everyone should watch. Movies like this.. These days when social media is filled with negativity, movies that say something good and make the audience think are rare. A movie in that category is Gandhi Tatha Chettu.

This movie is about the love of two people for a tree.. and the struggle they wage to save it. Hearing this concept.. what is so dramatic about it.. one wonders how a two-hour film can be directed on such a point, but.. director Padmavati Malladi has managed to keep the audience on their toes with an interesting story. For those who like movies that are a little slow and realistic like Tithi.. Mail.. Cinema Bandi.. 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' is a good choice.

The story of 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' does not seem very new.. shocking at all. In a village, the crops do not ripen properly.. and even when they ripen, the farmers are troubled by the fact that they do not get the right price.. Investors who want to acquire land in the name of a factory show their hopes of money.. A heroine who fights against this and wins.. This is basically the story. But farmers.. investors.. struggle.. when you say that, you remember the movies of decades ago. But this is not the type of revolutionary movie.

Although the point is old.. Director Padmavati has tried to deal with it in a new.. fun.. natural way. Adults tell children to tell only the truth but.. if those children start telling the truth again, it is the adults who shut them up. Since it is difficult to live in this society by speaking only the truth, children also adapt to the circumstances and get used to lying.

But what happens when a girl sticks to the ideals taught to her by her grandfather and speaks only the truth.. and does only good things, we see this in the role of Gandhi played by Sukumar's daughter Sukriti. She tells her friends to the teacher that they are cheating.. and gets hurt when they get beaten again.. and then asks for more beatings at the hands of those friends.. After seeing the character of Gandhi in this way, we get a desire for it. We connect with this character in the beginning and later travel with it.

Two other characters in 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' move the audience. One of them is the character of Ramachandraiah, who considers the tree as a friend and loves it very much. That character, who speaks and behaves without any drama, also connects well with the audience. Similarly, the tree voiced by Tanikella Bharani also connects with the audience like a character.

If someone talks about a tree expressing its emotions, it seems dramatic, but.. that feeling is not felt when watching the movie. No audience is not moved when the tree expresses its pain when an axe is thrown at it. Although there are not many new scenes in the storylines.. the scenes are interesting and lead the audience forward. The scene where Ramachandraiah's character talks to the factory representative who has come to buy his land is a highlight of the movie. The dialogues in that scene also seem good.

The move that Gandhi's character uses to escape the wedding gaze is also interesting. The way the heroine uses Gandhi's ideals as weapons to solve the village's problems is impressive. The climax is heartwarming. However, in this movie, which is mostly realistic, the episode where the heroine surprises the villagers by making jaggery as an alternative to sugar seems a bit exaggerated.

It is strange that the villagers who send sugarcane to the sugar factory do not know about jaggery production.. and do not recognize it as an alternative. The story is in the old style.. and the narration is a bit slow. The film has notable minuses. But many good films can ignore these disadvantages.

Actors Performance:

Sukumar's wife has put 'Tabitha Sukumar Proudly Presents' on the title cards of this film. Both these parents can definitely be proud of their daughter. It is no small feat to shave off your head and act for the role of a teenage girl. Not only this, but Sukriti's effort in acting in a way that befits the role is commendable. You don't get the feeling that she is acting anywhere.

Sukriti has immersed herself in the role in such a way that you feel that there is a real girl named Gandhi. Ramachandraiah Ananda Chakrapani also acted brilliantly. He left a strong impression in every scene. Tollywood needs to use this talented actor more. Both the artists who played Sukriti's parents did well. The old man who played the master.. The boys who played the heroine's friends also played well. Rag Mayur was impressed as the factory representative. Even though he is not seen on screen.. Tanikella Bharani has given life to the tree's character in his voice.

Technical category:

The technical aspects of 'Gandhi Tatha Chettu' have been well done. The music.. Vishwa Devabathula-Sreejitha Cheruvupalli's cinematography is in the style of indie films.. has become the film's attraction. The film team made the film in a village without spending much money. The producers who supported such a story are commendable. Padmavati Malladi has shown her talent as a writer.. as a director. Her passion for bringing such a story to the silver screen these days should be appreciated. Padmavati has presented a good story with meaningful characters.. with good dialogue.. in a heartwarming and interesting way.

Finally: Gandhi Tatha Chettu.. is a good film
