Devara Movie Review: NTR is the hero of the action drama ‘Devara’ directed by Koratala Siva. Janhvi Kapoor is the heroine. Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist. Meanwhile, this movie was released in theaters today amidst huge expectations. Let’s go into the review and see how this movie is.

Devara Movie Story:

There are four villages in the Red Sea region. Devara (NTR) is the leader of one village. Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan) is the leader of another village. Devara and Bhaira, along with the people of the other two villages, rob ships coming into the sea. In the wake of some dramatic developments in this sequence, Devara has a fight with Bhaira’s batch.

Why did Devara turn against them? What is the reason why Devara disappeared from everyone? Why is Devara's son Vara (Young NTR's character) afraid in the meantime? How did Vara and Thangam's (Janvi Kapoor) love story go?, How did Devara's story finally end? What did Vara do for Devara? is the rest of the story.

Devara Movie Analysis:

As always, NTR has acted wonderfully in the roles of Devara and Varada (Vara). Tarak's performance in the dual role is the main highlight of the entire movie. NTR's acting as 'a person who inspires fear in those who live bravely' is really at that level.

This movie is exactly what his fans want from NTR, with huge visuals and 'wild action and emotional elements'. NTR mesmerized the audience with his powerful performance, showing different variations in his roles.

Janhvi Kapoor, who made her debut on the Telugu screen with ‘Deora’, acted very well in her ‘Thangam’ role. Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan also played the role of ‘Bhaira’. The depth of Saif’s role was impressive. Koratala Siva has crafted his role to match NTR’s role.

Marathi actress Shruti Marathe acted very well. Her screen presence is also very good. Srikanth and Prakash Raj, who appeared in other key roles, impressed. Similarly, Shine Tom Chacko, Ajay, and the rest of the actors were also impressed with their performances in their respective roles.

Even though this movie is set in the 1980s-90s, the way it has been crafted with a different concept in line with a commercial movie is good. The underwater sequences in the climax and pre-climax are the main highlights of the movie. NTR's performance in those water scenes also stands out.

The shark shots in particular are very good. Accordingly, the action sequences in the sea have been designed effectively. Moreover, the characters' portrayal and the background of those characters have also been designed perfectly in line with the conditions of the 90s. The color tone in the key scenes is very impressive. The suspense that runs through the point of view of the godfather is good.

Although this ‘high action emotional entertainer’ with heavy emotions and huge visuals is very impressive for the most part.. Some scenes in terms of the story are not fully impressive as they are not up to the level of the film. Also, the entire movie could not continue the hype in the movie. It would have been better if the love track between Janhvi Kapoor and NTR had been better.

Overall, director Koratala Siva, who showed good performance in the main theme and key scenes of the story, was slow in some of the remaining scenes. Although there was a chance to make those scenes more interesting, the director was only interested in elevating the emotional drama he wanted.

Technical Department:

Talking about the technical department of this movie.. Cinematographer R.Rathnavelu’s cinematography work is amazing. The key scenes in the film as well as the rest of the action scenes have been shot brilliantly following the storyline.

Sreekar Prasad's editing is also very good. The songs composed by music director Anirudh Ravichander are very good. Their pictorialization is also good. The background music is also impressive. Koratala Siva has done complete justice to this film as a writer and director.

He has made the film interesting with a good story and strong diverse characters. However, it would have been better if he had made the story more interesting in some places. Producers Mikkilineni Sudhakar, Kosaraju Harikrishna, and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram have produced this film without compromising anywhere. Their production values are excellent.

Conclusion:

In this emotional action drama, which is a visual wonder.. In addition to the wild action sequences, the feel-good emotions are also very good. Especially NTR's powerful performance, Koratala's direction, and the good work from the entire technical department.. became a special attraction for the entire film.

But, some scenes were slow and the love story was not very impressive. However, NTR took this film to another level with his performance and dialogue modulation. Overall, this film will entertain NTR fans as well as all other sections of the audience.
