MAX Movie Review: Kichcha Sudeep has a good craze as a star hero in Kannada. If his role is important, Sudeep is also enthusiastic about acting in other languages. Therefore, he is well known in other languages as well. From such Sudeep, the movie 'Max' hit the theaters on December 25 last year. Directed by Vijay Karthikeya, this movie was also available in Telugu on 'Zee 5' from last night.
Max Movie Story:
Minister Parasuram (Sharath Lohitasya) Minister Daniel (Aadukalam Naren) are those who know how to spin the wheel politically. They are able to cultivate strong followers and make everyone fear them.
There is no police officer in the area who can testify against them or even file a case if they do. Therefore, the other police officers are afraid of a new arrival in the area. In such a situation, 'Max' comes to the village as a police officer.
Parasuram and Daniel's sons, Michael and Veera, are good friends. They follow their father's authority and act according to their own desires. Once, when they turn on the police, Max arrests them and puts them in a cell.
However, both of them die under suspicious circumstances. No one knows how it happened and they are confused. The police are afraid that if Parasuram and Daniel find out about this, they will be killed.
Max suggests that they secretly move the bodies of Michael and Veera from there and tell Parasuram's gang that they left them. Everyone agrees to that. While they are trying to move the bodies of the two from there, Parasuram and Daniel's followers surround the police station. What will Max do then? What kind of situations will the police face because of those politicians? Who is responsible for the death of Michael - Veera? That is the rest of the story.
Max Movie Analysis:
Some politicians in power have arrogance. Most of the descendants of such people are a bit aggressive. Police officers who have families like this are naturally afraid of them. However, there are very few officers who give courage to the police who are afraid and save them from the clutches of politicians. 'Max' is the story of one such police officer.
The story begins with the hero stepping into an old police station from the British era to take charge. Max is a straightforward man. He is not afraid of anyone. But he takes the responsibility of saving the police from the clutches of murders that have taken place at the station.
The way the director has designed the character from a different angle is impressive. At the same time, the story heats up even more with the introduction of Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar as Crime Branch Officer 'Roopa'.
The corpses of the heirs of politicians in the police station.. the followers of politicians outside.. the officer 'Roopa' who acts in their favor.. how the hero dealt with the threat looming from three sides is what arouses the interest of the audience. However, the story background.. some elements.. screenplay.. remind us of Karthi's movie 'Khaidi'. Overall, it seems like an average movie.
Max Movie Actors Performance:
Sudeep - Varalakshmi Sarathkumar's performance should be called the main attraction of this movie. Sarath Lohitasya - Aadukalam Naren.. It is more correct to say that Sunil played key roles rather than saying that he appeared in key roles. Because we see the reason for that is the lack of adequate power for those roles. Although Varalakshmi Sarathkumar's entry seems interesting, he could not take that role forward in the same graph.
Sekhar Chandra's photography is good. Ajaneesh Loknath's background music is a major strength. When it comes to Ganesh Babu's editing, some scenes could be trimmed here and there.
Conclusion:
Sharath Lohitasya - Aadukalam Naren - Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar .. If Sunil had increased the power of his characters, if he had paid more attention to the screenplay .. If Karthi had made it without the shades of his 'Khaidi' movie .. this movie would have definitely reached the next level. It seems that it has remained an average movie due to not doing so.
