Oka Pathakam Prakaram Movie Analysis:
The lead actor in this film, Sairam Shankar, acted very well with his body language as well as in some emotional and crime sequences. Sairam Shankar surprised the audience with his performance mainly in some key scenes.
Shruti Sodhi, who played another lead role, also acted very well. Ashima Narwal was impressed as the heroine. Her performance was especially good in the climax. Samudrakhani's performance was the main highlight of the film.
The crime episodes from the point of view of the main characters were also good. Similarly, the way the director handled the film from many angles around the murders of girls was good in some places.
Along with Pachamuthu, Bhanu Sri, Garlapati Kalpalatha, Pallavi Gowda, etc., the actors who played other roles also got into their roles. Overall, the drama in the serious crime scenes was good in some places.
Although this ‘Oka Pathakam Prakaram’ movie is an interesting crime drama.. in many places, the play is very simple. Many scenes in the first half were boring. The first half should have been written more strongly. In addition, there were too many unnecessary lag scenes.
Moreover, this movie is slow-narrated along with boring treatment and fake emotions. Since the entire movie revolves around murders, the drama should have been established and conveyed in a more detailed manner.
Overall, except for some key scenes and the interval scene, the other scenes in the first half are not impressive. Director Vinod Kumar Vijayan tried hard to make the second half a little more emotional, but otherwise, that emotion could not be fully worked out anywhere.
Moreover, the film was stretched with poor scenes around silly emotions. Overall, Oka Pathakam Prakaram, the movie makers have elevated their intended content on the screen well.. but some scenes are not good. Also, the scenes in the climax are not impressive either.
Technical department:
Talking about the technical department.. Director Vinod Kumar Vijayan could not add good treatment to good crime thrillers and increase interest. The play should have been written a little better. Rajeev Ravi's cinematography in the film is good.
Along with the opening scenes of the movie, the cameraman showed some key scenes in the second half very naturally. Rahul Raj's music is good. The background music is also okay. If the editing was better, it would have been a plus for the film. The production values of producers Vinod Kumar Vijayan and Garlapati Ramesh are also good.
Conclusion:
This emotional crime mystery drama that came out as ‘Oka Pathakam Prakaram’ did not impress. Although some crime scenes and the first sequence were good, the film was hampered by factors like the slow pace of the screenplay, lack of interesting scenes in the first half, and lack of logic in some key scenes. Overall, this crime drama failed to entertain the audience.
