Suzhal Web Series Review: Aishwarya Rajesh-Kathir played the lead role in the Tamil web series 'Suzhal'. June 17.. In 2022, the first season of this series was streamed as 8 episodes. Since the first season was very popular, the second season was also made available in 8 episodes in different languages. Season 2 is streaming from today. Let's see how much Season 2 will connect with the audience.

Suzhal Web Series Story:

Nandini (Aishwarya Rajesh), the eldest daughter of Shanmugam (Parthiban). Nandini's younger sister Neela - the son of Police Officer Regina (Shriya Reddy) loves Atishayam. However, since both of them die, it is thought that they must have committed suicide.

However, Nandini comes to know through Police Officer Chakravarthy (Kathir) that it was a murder. She gives appropriate punishment to those who caused her sister's death. From here, the story of Season 2 begins.

Nandini is in jail serving a sentence for murder. Police officer Chakravarthy tries to free her through lawyer Chellappa (Lal). But suddenly one day, lawyer Chellappa is murdered.

Chakravarthy takes 'Muthu' (Gouri Kishan) who is at the scene of the crime into custody. Chakravarthy is confused because he cannot find any details about Muthu and because she does not tell him why she killed Chellappa.

In this context, seven young women come to the police station one by one and surrender themselves, saying that they killed Chellappa. Chakravarthy is confused. All of them tell the same story about how Chellappa was murdered. None of the seven people know each other.

There is no connection between them. They do not know who 'Muthu' is. Chakravarthy takes them to the sub-jail where Nandini is serving her sentence. What happens there? Who murdered Chellappa? What is the relationship between those girls and him? That is the story.

Suzhal Season 2 Analysis:

Some incidents occur in life. People change depending on the circumstances. In some cases, the murderers pretend to be innocent. The murderers are portrayed as evildoers.

However, time always tries to reveal the real truth to this world. Even after death, it keeps trying to prevent good people from being tarnished. This is a story that reveals this truth.

Those who have seen 'Suzhal' season 1 will think that the whole story is already over. What else will they say? They will think. The entire story has really been told in the first season itself. From the side of season 1, only a small link has been made with Aishwarya Rajesh's character in it, and that is all.

The rest of the story is also intertwined in another dimension. There are many characters in this story too.. There are unexpected twists and turns. If you look at season 2, it seems like an attempt has been made to impress the female audience.

Lawyer Chellappa, who tries to get Nandini out of jail, dies. Who killed him? What is Nandini's condition now? The way the director has aroused interest in the issues is good.

The way the climax is designed without leaving the audience guessing is pleasing. Similarly, the Manjima Mohan episode also scores good marks. Those who thought that Aishwarya Rajesh's character would be dynamic will be a bit disappointed.

Actors Performance:

The production values of this web series are at a cinematic level. Especially in terms of cost.. In terms of filming, the fair scenes.. Scenes in the background of female prisoners.. The way the director planned the scenes in the background of the sea is impressive. The screenplay is good, but it seems that some scenes could have been trimmed.

Abraham Joseph's photography is the main attraction of this series. The filming of the scenes related to the jail.. the sea.. the action scenes are great. The background music provided by Sam CS also ensures that the audience does not slip away from the scenes. Richard Kevin's editing is not bad. It seems that it would have been better if the stretched scenes were trimmed a bit.

Conclusion:

Great production values .. interesting scenes .. unexpected twists make this series worth watching from beginning to end. However, in terms of story and screenplay, 'Suzhal' Season 1 seems perfect. Although there are many big scenes in Season 2, the emotional Manjima Mohan episode is the most connected. The only drawback seems to be that Aishwarya Rajesh's character is not seen at the expected level.
