Emoji Web Series Review: It is known that Aha OTT is also dubbing movies and series in other languages and releasing them in Telugu. In this order, the Emoji web series, which was released in Tamil two years ago, was edited and released as a movie in Telugu.
Emoji movie is currently streaming in Telugu on Aha OTT. The movie was produced by Sampath Kumar and directed by Rangaswamy. Mahat Raghavendra is the hero, and Manasa Chowdhury and Devika Satish are the heroines.
Emoji Web Series Story:
The story goes in flashback as Adav (Mahat Raghavendra) is a software engineer who is going to divorce his wife. One day, Adav goes to a sports shop and falls in love with Prarthana (Manasa Chowdhury) who works there. Since both of them are in love, Prarthana occasionally comes to Adav's room and enjoys it.
Amar and Deeksha (Devika Satish) live in a flat opposite Aadhav's flat. Both become couple friends. While the two are enjoying their couple's life, Prarthana gets ready to marry someone else without telling Aadhav. Deeksha breaks up with him because she can't stand Amar's selfishness.
After breaking up like this, Deeksha and Aadhav unexpectedly get close and get married. Why did Aadhav and Prarthana break up? Why does Prarthana get married to someone else? How did Aadhav and Deeksha get close? Why do they both think they should get divorced? You have to watch the movie to know.
Emoji Web Series Analysis:
This is a romantic love story. It is not clear why the title Emoji was given to this movie. Emoji, which came as a series in Tamil, was edited well in Telugu as a movie. The entire story takes place in flashbacks. The love story of Aadhav and Prarthana is artificial.
Even though many people follow her, she suddenly says that she loves him and says okay to everything. They are like living in a kind of live-in relationship. The first hour is spent with two couples. The twist is given during the interval that Aadav-Deeksha is husband and wife is good.
But why? How did they meet? Why did they want to get divorced again? The second half is well written. However, the reason for getting divorced seems silly. The movie ends in the pre-climax. But again, the director wanted to stretch it a bit and give a different ending. The whole movie has cute romantic scenes, but there are many.
Actors Performances:
Mahat needs to act better. Manasa Chowdhury, who is already impressed with a series of movies in Telugu, knows that this is a series she did three years ago at the beginning of her career. She looked cute in this and impressed. Devika Satish, however, acted very well and impressed. Devika has already appeared in a small role in Pawan Kalyan's film Bro in Telugu. The rest of the actors seemed to be okay.
Technical aspects:
The cinematography and visuals are good. Telugu dubbing is not set at all. The dubbing lip sync is missing in many places. The background music and songs are minimal. However, it seems to be made as a small web series with simple production values. Although the story is routine, the director has tried to tell it in a new way with a new screenplay.
Overall, the movie 'Emoji' is a romantic entertainer that shows why two people who have broken up in their love separately get married and then decide to get divorced.
