Mad Square Movie Review: After the movie ‘Mad’ became a super hit, ‘Mad Square’ was made as a sequel. Since it was a sequel, there were high expectations from the beginning. Let’s find out through this review whether this movie, which has come to the audience today, has lived up to those expectations or not..
Mad Square Movie Story:
The movie starts with an episode where Ganesh alias Laddu (Vishnu OI) is in jail. Laddu gets married.. After the engagement, the muhurat for his wedding is fixed. Three friends, Manoj (Ram Nithin), Ashok (Narne Nithin), and Damodar (Sangeet Shobhan), who come to know about it, come to his wedding.
Since their arrival, Laddu has been facing many problems. Laddu is afraid of where the wedding will end because of them. But unexpectedly, the girl he wants to marry wakes up at the right time. Laddu has already booked a resort in Goa for his honeymoon.
Just as he is about to cancel it.. what if it is not a honeymoon.. ‘Now let’s go and enjoy there’, Manoj, Ashok, DD.. follow Laddu and go to Goa. There, they unexpectedly get caught up in a crime. Who framed him for the crime? Why did Laddu have to go to jail? Why did his father (Muralidhar Goud) have to come to Goa in the middle? The rest of the movie answers these questions.
Mad 2 Movie Analysis:
As producer Naga Vamsi said from the beginning, there is no story in ‘Mad 2’. There are love stories to be told in the first part. But there are no such stories in the case of ‘Mad Square’. But wherever the audience feels bored, director Kalyan Shankar has put a good comedy scene there and kept it engaging.
Along with the comedy of the friends gang in the Laddu Pelli episode, Muralidhar Goud's comedy timing is also pleasing. The interval episode feels crazy. There are half-present and half flashback episodes. In the second half, some dialogues are in a way that will bother the family audience. But Satyam Rajesh and Sunil's tracks are well worked out.
The editing part of such films is very difficult. The editor should be congratulated for that. There is no need to name the production values. Keeping the audience seated for 2 hours without a story is also a tough task. Kalyan Shankar definitely gets good marks in that regard. The songs of Laddu Ganai Pelli and Swathi Reddy, made with Bheems' music, are good. The fact that they have mass appeal is also an advantage.
Mad Square Movie Actors Performance:
Although there are three heroes, most of the marks in this movie go to Vishnu, who played the role of Laddu. Then Muralidhar Goud and Satyam Rajesh.. also did well. Among the heroes, Sangeeth Shobhan and Ram Nithin impress with their mark performances. Narne Nithin is just okay. But compared to the other two heroes.. he is seen a little less. People like Sunil and Raghubabu have done justice to their respective roles.
Overall, ‘Mad Square’… does not give complete satisfaction in the ‘Mad’ range. The lack of story.. the film is based solely on comedy, so it gives the feeling of ‘Jathi Ratnalu’. A movie that can only be watched with a gang of friends. No, whether you go alone or with your family.. it is difficult to connect with this movie
