Veera Dheera Soora Movie Review: The latest movie ‘Veera Dheera Shoora’ starring Chiyan Vikram and Dushara Vijayan, has been released worldwide today. This movie is directed by S.U.Arun Kumar. Let’s see how much this movie has impressed the audience in this review.
Veera Dheera Soora Movie Story:
Kali (Chiyan Vikram), who runs a grocery store, lives a comfortable life with his wife, Vani (Dushara Vijayan). However, one day, his former employer, alias Ravi (Prithvi Raj), asks him to save his son Kanna (Suraj Venjaramoodu) from SP Arunagiri (S.J. Surya). What kind of past does Kali share with them? Why does IPS S.J. Surya want to kill the elder’s son? Will Kali fulfill the elder’s wish?
Veera Dheera Soora Movie Analysis:
In such action revenge dramas, a small point in the story can make the entire movie interesting. This movie also has one such point. However, that point should have been presented perfectly to impress the audience. In this movie, Vikram has given a performance with a good scope as Kali. S.J. Surya has once again hooked the audience with his performance.
The director's effort to make the story engaging is visible to us right from the beginning of the movie. The way he chose to take it into the story is somewhat impressive. The way the story is narrated also seems to be okay.
The composition of the action sequences impresses the audience. The hero elevations are also somewhat impressive. In terms of music, the BGM work is good. It must be said that the cinematography is a good thing for this movie.
When choosing such an action story, the core point that hooks the audience should be strong. But, it was missed in this film. It seems as if they have driven this story based on a small point. Even though there are powerful elements in the hero's character, they have tried to hide them for a long time. Dushara's performance as the hero's wife may not be to my liking.
Even though there is scope for intense action in the story, the screenplay that presents it as a routine action drama is a minus for this film. With a slow pace, this film tests the patience of the audience. Especially in the second half, when the story seems to be engaging, a sequence that comes makes this film go off track.
Also, watching this film, it is clear that S.J. Surya's role has not been fully utilized. If Prithviraj's role had been played by another senior villain in this film, that role would have been given more scope. The rest of the actors have also not done much.
Technical category:
Although the story chosen by director S.U.Arun Kumar is routine; if it had been presented properly, this film would have impressed the audience. He should have focused especially on the screenplay and intense points in the story. In terms of music, although the songs are not very impressive, the BGM work is good. The cinematography is okay. However, the editing work should have been much better. The production values are good.
Conclusion:
Overall, it must be said that the film ‘Veera Dheera Shoora’ is a disappointing action drama. Although the story has guts, the way it is presented fails. Although the actors’ performances try to impress, the film goes off track due to the screenplay and slow pace. Those who like action dramas should skip this film.
