Ziddi Girls Web Series Story:
It is a residential girls' college in Delhi. Valika .. Devika .. Vandana .. Trisha .. Paru Tabassum are studying in that college. When it comes to 'Valika', her life is confined to a wheelchair. She finds it difficult to meet people. She writes poems well.
She mostly thinks about her father. 'Devika' is her roommate. She studies well.. but financial problems are bothering her. When it comes to 'Vandana', her father takes care of her. She is in a state of not knowing how much to use the freedom given by her father.
'Trisha' is a good hockey player. A girl who runs without taking anything seriously. In that run, she gets beaten up without knowing it. 'Paru' has more courage. She is at the forefront of fighting for her rights. 'Tabassum' has a desire to become popular on social media.
Malavika Dutta (Revathi) is the principal of this college. Due to an act done by the students of that college, her name gets into the media. As a result, she has to leave there. Lata Bakshi (Simran) comes in that place. The students hear that she is very strict.
Lata Bakshi enforces some rules to curb some mischievous acts happening in the college. How will the students react? How will their careers be affected as a result? The story is about.
Ziddi Girls Web Series Analysis:
Everyone thinks that college life should be very beautiful. College gives education.. knowledge.. the skills needed to live in the outside world. The college also provides some beautiful memories. Sweet memories continue to spread enthusiasm throughout life.
Similarly, bitter experiences also keep knocking on the door of the heart. This is a story woven around sweet and bitter incidents in the context of college. Girls have some limitations.. restrictions at home. The instructions that they should not do this.. should not do this continue to affect them throughout the day.
Such girls who are waiting for freedom feel happy if they have to stay in the college hostel. Girls who are free at home do not fit in here much. The director tried to show what it is like for people with different personalities to live together.
As difficult as it is for parents to educate their children, it is equally difficult for the college management to control them. They are struggling to keep the public and parents from talking about it.
The director also touched on that aspect. He covered love.. friendship.. sex.. emotions. However, since emotions are not connected, only love.. romance are what we remember most.
Actors Performance:
There are people from many different family backgrounds in the college. We do not see the characters being designed to have that effect. There are riots.. chaos.. fights. But the director could not design them in an understandable way.. interesting way. And there is a lot of tension coming from the management. We do not see that much of an atmosphere of fear.
Another flaw is the lack of any emotions from the parents who wonder how the children are doing in college. Since it is a Delhi setting, it seems like the focus is more on how children from rich families are doing. When we look at the romance parts, we doubt whether what we see is a series about students.
When translating the poems in the matrix into other languages, we should make sure that the meaning is not spoiled. Otherwise, they will seem like meaningless writings and cause discomfort. Such a situation is encountered here and there in this series. Undemanding scenes .. situations are also welcome. They have done well in their roles. The photography .. background music .. editing is not bad.
Conclusion:
Ziddi Girls means 'stubborn girls'. However, there are no scenes that show such stubbornness. There are no connecting emotions except unnecessary drama.. rush.. artificial romance. Some students who watch this series may think, 'Oh, we are so backward.' And if people from the 80s watch it by mistake, they can't help but think, 'We studied smart back then, not knowing that it should be like this.'
